This model includes premium hammers, butcher block style keybed, Solid spruce keys, static-UV polyester application, double wheel casters, and leg and attached toe block.The pianos in the EU series have been designed by European master piano makers. They feature a resonant tapered solid spruce engineered soundboard, light and responsive Pearl River action with all wood parts, braced back, sand-cast iron frame, German strings, vertically laminated maple bridge, synthetic ebony sharps, deluxe twin castors and fittings.

    The new  EU118 offers a contemporary look to a traditional studio piano. The silver colored hardware, pedals and casters give this model a fresh, clean and attractive style.     Yamaha UX upright piano (1979-1980)

    Model UX-U3 Variant Model

    UX - The Yamaha U3 has been manufactured in Japan since the mid 1950's. The UX models were built between 1976 and 1980. Over the 50 years plus that Yamaha have been building the U3 model not a lot has changed other than cosmetic differences to the model.

    The UX offers great value to a player who wants a piano with a rich full sound. The X means this model has an X-Shaped wooden support frame around the back which some claim gives a better sound .The 131cm tall cabinet gives plenty of room for long bass strings, which give a full rich sounding bass register. The sound from the UX is better than most small grand pianos.

    Yamaha use the best of their timbers to build their U3 series professional uprights. The heart of the piano is the solid Sitka spruce soundboard, which is used to amplify the tone of the piano and produce the sound you hear. Using a solid timber for the soundboard rather than a laminated soundboard gives the piano a bigger and fuller sound.

    U100 - Made in Japan in the mid-1990s the U100 is a improvement variation of the Yamaha U1. Both come from the same factory and are equally well built with a great touch and tone. You will notice that the U100 has a line of horizontal beeding across the top of the top panel.

Now, thanks to comprehensive redesign, substantial refinements in materials, construction, production processes and overall design, the Yamaha U1, U3and U5 pianos are better than ever.

    The updated Yamaha U series acoustic upright pianos, all offer a longer music rack, and improved back assembly. The U3 piano has a new floating soundboard support system (like the one already featured on the U5).

    The floating soundboard support system is based on Yamaha grand piano design and allows the soundboard to vibrate more freely, thus improving the depth and characteristic of bass and mid-range tones. Like the preceding U series, the new uprights feature Spruce soundboards, full-length ribs, the exclusive Yamaha V-Pro plate, extruded aluminium alloy action rails and uniform key travel with spruce keys and balanced action.

    Pre-loved Kawai US6X Upright Piano (Year 1989- 1991)

    The Kawai US6X offers great value to a player who wants a piano with a rich full sound. The height of the US6X is responsible for a full rich tone. The US6X’s model equivalent is the current Kawai K800 with "grand piano " sound. Beautiful tone and in excellent condition. The 132cm tall cabinet gives plenty of room for long bass strings, which give a full rich sounding bass register. The sound from the US6X is better than most small grand pianos.

     Kawai US6X concert upright piano has keys that are slightly longer than regular keys ( 1/8" longer than standard). This is intentionally designed to give you stronger keys and stronger hit with the hammer. The keys themselves are made of sitka spruce, and have a straight grain.

    Using a solid timber for the soundboard rather than a laminated soundboard gives the piano a bigger and fuller sound.
