Preloved Kawai BL61 Upright Piano  (1978-1988)

This is a full size, professional series Kawai upright manufactured in Japan. This piano is similar to the Yamaha U3.  many people prefer the warmer tone of Kawai pianos. This preloved Kawai BL61 is in such excellent condition that standing in front of it and playing this instrument, you might think it is a new piano!

The piano has been well cared for over the years and doesn’t suffer from any environmental degradation. Our piano technician have performed high level regulation, voicing and string work bringing an evenness of tone and touch to this piano.

The UX1 was made in Japan between around 1983-1988 and is another model with the X-shaped frame around the back. You should consider these models to be on a par with the Yamaha U1 as we have always enjoyed playing them.
