  1. Yamaha C1 Grand Piano

*Please call us on 9550 9825 to check the stock availability.

This Pre-loved Yamaha C1 Grand Piano  (s/n: 5563650) made in 1997 in superb condition from Japan directly.

    Dimension: 1610mm D X 1490mm W X 1010mm H

    Weight: 287kg

This piano is in perfect condition and has no scratches or dents. It also has a great touch and tone. Hammers have no sign of normal wear. The Yamaha C1 was made in Japan in Yamaha’s premier factory in Hamamatsu which is where all of Yamaha’s finest pianos are made including their monstrous CFIIIS (sometimes called CF3S and now replaced by the CFX) concert grand piano.

Yamaha C1 with Yamaha Silent function

The Silent Piano is a real acoustic piano that uses unique technology enabling it to be played silently whilst a digital version of the sound is delivered through headphones. When the silent function is activated, the hammers will no longer hit the strings and instead, highly sophisticated optical sensors capture all key and pedal movements, sending them to the digital tone module.

The silent practice facility makes them the ideal choice for home use, where individuals can play through headphones while others in the same room watch TV or listen to other music.

The C1 is 161cm long (5ft 3in) and is a very sought-after piano which means it holds its value very well.

    Quality and Performance

Refinements in copper-wound string specifications deliver purer, more perfectly pitched and harmonious bass. • Barrel-shaped treble hammer shanks, similar to those of the concert grand, improve dynamic and tonal response. •Bridges crafted from choice, finely grained woods, selected to complement each scale design, provide superior sound transmission. • Rim specifications attuned to the characteristics of each model optimize strength, stability and resonance. •Model-specific production enables more-focused tuning, voicing and regulation, for optimal long-term performance. • Precise note-by-note strike point alignment produces crisper, clearer tones. • Heightened precision in damper installation offers superior pedaling and expressive control.

The heart of the piano is the solid Sitka spruce soundboard, which is used to amplify the tone of the piano and produce the sound you hear.
