    Kawai US55 Concert Upright Piano (Year 1985-1989)

    These two lovely Kawai US55 Concert Upright Pianos were manufactured in the original Kawai piano factory in Hamamatsu, Japan.  The US55 concert models were only made between Year 1985-1989, during the absolute golden era of Japanese piano manufacturing, and are commonly regarded as one of the most stable and reliable full-size Kawai models made in Japan.  They are extremely sought after in the musical world.

    This piano comes with matching piano bench with lift up leather-look top for storage as well as a full practise pedal system (centre muting pedal that locks down so that the piano can be played at a lower volume at night-time etc).  It is in immaculate condition inside and out, with a high gloss ebony cabinet and minimal wear to the keyboard and internal action mechanism.

    UX - The Yamaha U3 has been manufactured in Japan since the mid 1950's. The UX models were built between 1976 and 1980. Over the 50 years plus that Yamaha have been building the U3 model not a lot has changed other than cosmetic differences to the model.

    The UX offers great value to a player who wants a piano with a rich full sound. The X means this model has an X-Shaped wooden support frame around the back which some claim gives a better sound .The 131cm tall cabinet gives plenty of room for long bass strings, which give a full rich sounding bass register. The sound from the UX is better than most small grand pianos.

    U100 - Made in Japan in the mid-1990s the U100 is a improvement variation of the Yamaha U1. Both come from the same factory and are equally well built with a great touch and tone. You will notice that the U100 has a line of horizontal beeding across the top of the top panel.
